Compare Accounting Packages
HVR has three accounting packages: Essential from €150/month, Professional from €300/month and Premium from €500/month, before VAT. They differ in document volume, payroll and management support. For financial leadership there is the External CFO service from €500/month, and consulting is quoted per project.

On every package the accounts are the responsibility of a certified accountant, and the company's tax filings are included.
Accounting, consulting or external CFO
- Accounting — the foundation of any company: bookkeeping, VAT, corporate tax, payroll and monthly reports. Choose it to meet your legal obligations and keep the books organised and up to date.
- Business consulting — support for decisions: tax planning, feasibility studies, business plans and reorganisations. It makes sense when the company is growing, changing its model or assessing a new project. It is quoted per project.
- External CFO — part-time financial leadership: 12-month cash flow, budgets, KPIs, bank and investor reporting and fundraising preparation. Three levels — Light from €500, Standard from €1,400 and Premium from €3,500 per month.
How to choose, by company stage
- New company: accounting (Essential) plus one-off consulting when a big decision comes up.
- Growing company with staff: accounting (Professional) plus regular consulting.
- Established company or one with investors: accounting (Premium) with an external CFO.

What is the difference between accounting, consulting and an external CFO?
Accounting keeps you legally and fiscally compliant: bookkeeping, VAT, corporate tax, payroll and IES. Consulting solves one-off questions such as restructurings, tax incentives or starting a business. An external CFO runs the finance function part-time: cash flow, budgeting, KPIs and reporting to banks and investors.
What is the difference between the Essential, Professional and Premium packages?
Essential, from €150 a month, suits micro companies with up to 50 documents a month and no payroll. Professional, from €300 a month, adds payroll for up to 5 employees and up to 150 documents a month. Premium, from €500 a month, includes unlimited payroll, analytical accounting and tax consulting.
How much does an external CFO cost?
From €500 a month on the Light level, with 3 to 6 hours a month, designed for SMEs turning over between €200,000 and €1 million or startups before Series A. The Standard and Premium levels start at €1,400 and €3,500 a month.
Do prices include VAT?
No. VAT is added to the fees at the standard rate of 23% in mainland Portugal (article 18(1)(c) of the VAT Code).
Can I combine services or change later?
Yes. Many clients start with accounting and add consulting or an external CFO as the company grows. Services are adjusted as your needs change.
