What services does HVR Business Consulting provide?
Certified accounting for companies and self-employed workers (VAT, corporate tax, personal income tax, payroll and IES), tax and business consulting, part-time external CFO services and company formation. There are dedicated services for startups, healthcare, real estate, short-term rentals, hospitality, restaurants, construction, e-commerce and liberal professions.
How much do HVR's services cost?
Accounting for companies costs from €150 a month, for self-employed workers from €75 a month, and the external CFO service from €500 a month. Prices exclude VAT. The final fee is set after a free assessment, based on document volume, payroll and sector.
Who is responsible for my accounts?
The work is the responsibility of Hugo Ribeiro, a certified accountant and member of the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants (OCC), who personally oversees clients' tax returns and year-end accounts.
Do I need to visit your office?
No. We work mostly remotely, with digital document submission and video meetings. If you prefer, we can meet in person at our Lisbon office in Parque das Nações.
Do you work with foreign companies and professionals?
Yes. We provide the full service in Portuguese and English to foreign companies operating in Portugal and to professionals relocating to the country.
Can I switch accountants in the middle of the year?
Yes, you can switch at any time of the year. We handle the handover of records from your previous accountant and the appointment of the new certified accountant on the Portal das Finanças.
